This is just like last week. Below are your assignments. Put all of the answers onto one google doc and share it with me when you finish. Your work is due Sunday, April 19 at 11:59 p.m.
Read the Style Manual pages 21-25.
Style Manual Questions
1. What is a feature?
2. What is a spot?
3. Why do you write out numbers on a broadcast script?
Production Plan
Before we left for the break we were working on the story "Life of a High School Student". Honestly, I am not sure as of this writing if we will get to shoot that or not. However, one element of good production is a production plan. A production plan outlines your goals, your needs, and how you plan to accomplish the project.
So I want you to think through how you will do your "Life of a High School Student" project by explaining each of the following.
Answer these questions on your google doc.

Answer these questions on your google doc.
- Who is your target audience for your video?
- Who am I going to interview?
- What is my focus statement?
- What equipment do I need?
- Where am I going to shoot?
- How long will it take to shoot?
- What shots do I need to get? (angles and subjects)
- How long will it take to edit?
- Create a timeline in terms of days and hours that you think it will take you to finish each step. You don't have to put exact dates, but instead use days of the week.
- Create a storyboard with at least 6 frames like the one shown on this page: https://www.vyond.com/resources/what-is-a-storyboard-and-why-do-you-need-one Formatting might be trick for this one. You can just create a list of the items, you can use a table on your google doc, or your can actually draw the pictures and upload them. However you figure it out is great with me.
